Dr. Z team rankings are out

WOW a guy looking at the roster and work done so far not looking exclusively at last year. FINALLY GO FINS!!!!!
 
I diagree with basically the whole thing. I found myself scrolling to the bottom after i saw minnesota ranked 4th best team in the league

Considering what many other media outlets are saying about the Fins, I'll take #26 any day. Considering we were 1-15 and at the bottom of the barrell I'm suprised not EVERYONE had us listed at #32.....I never once said anything about us not moving up (in fact I'm sure we will in due time). How in your right mind would you put us any higher without even playing a single game after last years results? Do u honestly think preseason is an indication of how teams will perform during the regular season? If so you're sorely mistaken....remind me how many games the Patriots won this preseason.....THAT is what I'm talking about being not too shabby!!!!!!!!!!!
 
im not lookin at any "experts" preseason rankings... lets let em play and then we will let the playoffs rank everybody..
 
Nothing against the messenger, but this entire power ranking is horrendous....TB 13th? Ravens above Miami? The Ravens were the only team we actually beat last year! Plus they were rumored to be interested in our odd-man-out QB, and ACTUALLY SIGNED last weeks trash in Joey Harrington...PLEASE!

The Saints 17th? And the Jets that high? Sheesh, I almost had an aneurysm reading that garbage...

Couldnt agree more. last I checked they have the worst qb situation in the league outside of baltimore. guess he forgot its the most important position on the field. Guess he also forgot we have a guy that somehow led some bad jets teams to the playoffs 3 times. If Chad Pennington has an 85 QB rating this year we are sniffing playoffs. Minnesota for all their talent, if they dont get Qb play can forget about it.

This guy said we were going to the superbowl two years ago. He's like belly lint.....it just doesn't mean anything.

even philly at 7, Jets at 15, Indy at 6. But Minny at 4 is just horrible. Its like he got wasted last night, did his rankings, and posted them on the site... his editor got wasted with him.
 
He has us at 26, and the jets 11 spots higher, but then says this:

Boy, am I tempted to take the Fish, straight up, in this one.

When referring to the week 1 matchup. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the dap, but you'd think we should be closer in the rankings if thats the case.

because it was just the preseason thats why. The lions went 4-0 and the pats wents 0-4. So based off your theory the lions should be ahead of the pats right?
