Draft a Safety in The First Round

Now that we have signed CB's Allen and Hill what do you think about taking a safety in the first round. Schulters was decent and i think Bell shows potential but that is still an area of need. Plus we could possibly trade down a few spots, grab an extra mid round pick, and draft Darnell Bing. The guy is huge and knows how to tackle. Seemed like he was the only one who could tackle Vince Young in the Rose Bowl.

I think safety is more of a need right now than cornerback with Allen signing. But I believe Hill is going to play safety, not cornerback.

we do need a safty, but dont no about the first round, i am aboard the Chad Jackson bandwagon right now, so imo i hope we dont get a safty, i just hope we get schulters back and Bell could play well for us as well.

Well if Michael Huff falls to #16 I think Saban drafts him and then experiments on if Huff or Daniels plays FS.

If its Huff you have Allen and Daniels at CB
if its Daniels then Allen and Huff at CB

either way its a good thing

Trade down/draft Ko Simpson. FS from S. Carolina, Saban would be familiar w/him. Don't know the name..check this kid out...very possible.

He is a FS. I could see Hill maybe starting at SS.

i would not mind drafting a saftey but if we drafted chad jackson could u imagine daunte chuckin the ball up to chamber, jackson, booker, mcmike would be nuts

Nah, I want impact players on the front seven. With the coverage rules being so sensitive now, its much better to have as many great pass rushers as possible. If we can add another great pass rusher, whether its at DT, DE or OLB, Im all for that.

Bunkley looks like he'd be awesome at a DE in the 3-4 and DT in the 4-3. He'd be perfect.

If not Id like Chad Jackson, but you cant pass up on WInston Justice IMO if hes still around. Maybe even Ernie Sims if hes availiable and we cant land Peterson or Arrington

IMO Corner is no longer a position of dire need.

I'm all for us taking Jckson or Holmes at 16 unless Huff or Ngata drop which they shouldn't....I feel ok with our secondary right now....if we draft a safety it should be a SS and we can get that in the 3rd or 4th round.....of course, all this is if we do get Lavar or Julian otherwise we'd probably take a LB and yes, a DT is also posible.
