ok so since now were officially out of the playoffs. Who to draft ? who do we pick up? who do we release??

Draft Brian Brohm or Quinton Moses from Georgia, sign Eric Steinbach the LG, Clements and maybe Lance Briggs.

I agree with all of that except Clements. Clements is the top corner in free agency, but hes not a shut down guy. However, he will get Shut down money, which he wont deserve. I almost guarantee the man gets almost 10 mill gauranteed money. It just seems to be the trend now when decent corners hit free agency.

I agree with Moses, i'd rather russell over brohm though.

Here are Miami top three position upgrades in 2007:

#1 DB
#2 OL
#3 LB

Miami will go to the draft for whoever the best player available is when they pick. So it is hard to say which one of those positions they will go with. Plus you have to consider the possiblity of them getting a couple of those positions in free agency.

But those are the top 3 positions. Forget QB until maybe a late round pick.

W. Allen & Spragen need to be upgraded!!

I would love to see Miami land a BADASS LB in the draft with their #1 round pick. Crowder and MR. BADASS on either side of Zach. :D

teams will just keep throwing at us...

It doesn't matter what we need, Saban will find a way to ruin his 3rd straight 1st round draft choice and just blow it on an overrated SEC player that he once recruited or coached against. At least in a few years that excuse won't be feasible being he's been out of college for almost 3 years now.

Would like to target Briggs in FA and maybe Steinbach. Asante Samuel would also be a solid pickup for CB. Clements will command to much money for us to get him and Briggs and id rather Briggs.

We NEED to take a QB in round 1 of the draft. Harrington and lemon are backups and the jury is out on DC, hearing nothing is not good, almost like hes being swept under the rug.

Smith or Brohm would be preferential, MAYBE Russell if we lose out on the previous 2.

But QB needs to be upgraded in the worst way, and the right way. We can worry about the rest after that.

Sign Briggs or Thomas!! Asante Sameul!! Eric Steinbach and get Depth

Problem is that every team will have $$$$ next season, so let us forget about signing all those big time players. We are lucky if the Fins can get either Steinbach, Briggs OR Samuel. But never more than one.

About drafting a QB in teh 1st round I am strictly against it. The jury is still out for Culpeppefr and he is signed until 2013. If you draft a QB in Rd. 1 that is nothing but a sign for the team that Culpepper is done.
The Fins do need:
- CB
- Young DT
- LT
- G/C
- WR

You might get a G or DT in FA, but OL you must draft in Rd. 1

Pick up Briggs.

Trade McMichael for a draft pick.

Draft a left tackle in the 1st round. Should be at least 2 or 3 quality guys coming out, and the Fins should have a Top Ten pick. (Probably #8) Improves our running attack and our passing attack.

Draft a center in the 2nd round. Tons of great Centers coming out this year. Let me say it again: Improves our running attack and our passing attack.

Draft a CB or WR in the 3rd round. Best player available.

Draft a WR or CB in the 4th round. Best player available.

Draft a CB, WR, or TE with the pick we get for McMike. Best player available.

We won't have a 5th rounder due to Harrington.

6th and 7th rounds should be spent on special teams guys as far as I'm concerned. Or a "project."
