Draft Brian Brohm

So he can sit on the bench behind Beck... Draft deeeeeeeeez nutssss

Nah ill pass ! I rather take a shot with Falco in the 2nd or 3rd

He is not even the best player at his position. Also, he would not under any scenario have gone first last year.

Was Beck even close to being considered the best at his position? Either way, Brohm is a much better prospect than what Beck was at this time last year.

You need to qualify your statement. Do you mean draft him # 1 overall, or with our first second rounder, or . . . ? If you mean # 1 Overall, then I reiterate that he is not even the best player at his position.

That said. I don't agree with you that Brohm is a much better prospect than Beck was a year ago.

What needs clarifying? I simply stated that Brohm is a much better prospect than Beck ever was.

I am asking you to clarify when you believe we should take him. Simply saying "Draft Brian Brohm" means nothing. People will have different opinions depending on when you are arguing we draft him.

In regards to Beck, I am simply stating that I do not agree that Brohm is a "much better prospect than Beck ever was".

There are some issues with Brohm.

"he could have been the #1 pick last year" is one of the funniest things I have read on here lately.

lets hear about this super duper pedigree.

It's tough to say where Brohm would have went last year because he never worked out for teams, played all star games, or showed up at the combine. Top players take significant swings in draft status after going through this gauntlet. Is he a better prospect than Beck...maybe, he has slightly better measurables than Beck, and played better competition, however you just won't know how things would have played out. Personally, I like Brohm, but I do have concerns over his durability. If in the unlikely even he fell to 32 I 'd take him in a heartbeat, but definitely not at one.
