i just saw that Nate Burleson is going to be a FA so i think we should draft Dez Bryant in the first round and then sign Nate Burleson to be the #2 WR on our team either sign Burleson or Bryant from Tampa Bay both Bryant and Burleson are both 28 years old

Agreed. WR1- Dez Bryant WR2- Antonio Bryant WR3- Davone Bess W4- Brian Hartline

That gives henne 2 weapons, takes pressure off drafting Dez and having him HAVE to be our number 1, gives us a great combo of WR and a Bryant/Bryant combo

If that were too happen id be exstatic.. Henne would have 4250+ yds im calling it. And id like to see some empty sets and 4 wideout sets...

Or, how about we sign Macolm Floyd, draft a NT, OLB, or ILB in the first round and wait until the 3rd or 4th round to take another WR...Burleson is somewhat injury prone so no thanks.

Floyd isnt what we dont have. We have OK receivers. Heartline is a solid number 2. Another 2 doesnt help. Dez, Tate or Antonio or no one IMO.

If we don't sign a number 1, I sure hope we get one of the top receivers in the draft. Im looking at Bryant, Benn, Tate, Thomas, or LaFell.

I'd be happy if our first two rounds went either Bryant/Wootton or Graham... Or Morgan/Tate or Thomas

Miami is not going to take a WR in the first round after getting one in free agency....that doesnt make any sense....

Um, it makes a lot of sense if the receiver you're signing isn't the present AND future #1 all around go to guy

Yea, no. No WR will be takin in the 1st round. You can bank on it. Parcells is smart enough to realize defense is the reason for almost all of our losses, thus a lot of defensive players will be drafted in a strong defensive class over a WR in a weak WR class.

Yea . . . um, I don't think so. Sign a FA and use the first rounder on a WR? I would be pissed and the Dolphins would be buying into the media hype.

All this staff needs to do is look up the TE stats against this team and they will know not to do that foolishness.

You forget - this is still a power running offense. The Fins got sidetracked this year because of injuries, but Parcells and Sparano want to keep running the ball and dominating the TOP.

this is a pass first run second league now we had the ball almost the whole game against the colts and lost because they know how to throw the ball

yea because having two good WRs doesnt make any sense. never mind lets just keep our WRs the way they are going into next season so we can be in the Same Postion this is a Pass first league now

We didn't lose because they can throw it, we lost because we couldn't stop it, or even come close trying. The offense did absolutely everything necessary to win that game.

No, we lost because our defense sucks. Even more reason why defense will rightfully be addressed over WR. As I said numerous times, strong defensive class, weak WR class. We'll probably get Antonio Bryant in FA, and maybe another FA, and that will be that. WR will probably be addressed once and for all in next years draft, where the WR class will actually be a great one.
