1) He is the best player in this draft....period!

2) This is a deep draft for RB's. With a 2nd round pick we can still get one. Something like out of 30 NFL starting running backs currently (minus TB and Miami) only 4 were drafted in round 1. We can get a quality back in round 2. Or use that pick and trade for one.

3) With the way NFL rules are set up nowadays and called (illegal contact down the field) a great WR with blazing speed is very very VERY valuable. Line him up with Chambers and Booker and tell them run as far and as fast as you can and lets hope someone bumps ya and we get a flag!

4) Our offense isn't explosive at all. We need that home-run hitter opposite Chambers. Booker is a nice piece, but not what we need. We need MORE!

5) Our defense may be old and breaking down, but its still good. Our offense sucks and has sucked for years. We need to revamp it NOW! It takes longer to put an offense together than it does a defense. Lets get the pieces in place now, and worry about defense later. Rome wasn't built in a day!
 
I agree completely, and when we do take him if minny offers the house we take it, if not we get a playmaker, its win win with edwards
 
He scares me. I think he may be a HUGE headcase. Especially when he runs out and buys a Bentley (150k) before he gets drafted. that screams ITS ALL ABOUT ME!!!! Saban would rather wipe his A$$ with sandpaper than pass on a team player like the Auburn backs, for a TO type headache.
 
If you start a bandwagon, I'll be jumping on it...

Reading and seeing everything about Edwards, he is the person that can help turn the passing game around....

All of these guys are gonna spend big money. He just got a jump on everyone else by a few days or a week or whatever. Who cares.

If the headcase can score touchdowns, I want the headcase!

No Doubt. Lets think about it. Had TO been completely healthy, I think Eagles would have done better. You can't argue the fact that the Moss and TO keep their teams in the hunt for playoffs. It would be great to have Edwards line up with Chambers, Booker, and McMichael.

Yes this is true! I just don't want to be stuck in the "good but not great" category because we have a few problem players on our team with monster contracts.

I wouldn't put Edwards on par with any of these guys. HE HASN'T DONE ANYTHING TO JUSTIFY COMPARING HIM TO THEM AS "headcases" :shakeno:
