Draft not too deep after all

i have been calling it ever since the end of the superbowl. we should not take c long or any other non o lineman with one because we need a quality LT. everyone's case against taking jake long was that the draft was real deep in olineman. if we didn't take jake you know what starting caliber olineman would have been left. none.! these are the guys who went round 1

b. albert
ryan clady
chris willaiams
jeff otah
godsil cherilus
sam baker
duame brown

that is a lot of lineman and didnt leave us with too many picks at 32. just my lil way of i told u so. lol

Like you, I said before the draft that 25 of the 32 teams had O-line as a need position.. And people were crazy to think a few of these tackles were going to be on the board at 32. I mean, Sam Baker in the first round? That's crazy. This guy is puny and weak.. Take a look at the picture that was floating around with Baker standing next to Clady, Long and Chris Williams.. Baker looked like a little schoolboy compared to them. Baker is gonna to bust, he gets pushed around way too easily by college players..

agreed, but look at levi brown last year, he didnt belong top 5, but thats what need will do to ya. baker would have been a reach at 32 and i wouldnt have been happy taking him at 57 but the falcons were actualy smart to trade up to take him, a bust of an olineman is better than the ones on most teams rosters now, that is half the allure of taking them.
