Take this article and project the draft, maybe just, maybe the Dolphins can come away with Raji and a top flight S, CB, or OL.

My Mock:
The Dolphins trade down in the 1st. (Pick some where around the 25 - 32)

Detriot would be a good trade partner and maybe we could reverse our first second rd pick with their early one.

1. OL Max Unger or Duke Robinson or DT Raji or CB Alphonso Smith
2. S Kam Chancellor or which ever one of the aforementioned thats left on the board.
2. LB Jasper Brinkley or S Patrick Chung or TE Shawn Nelson or DE/OLB Connor Barwin
3 DE/OLB Micheal Johnson or WR R. Barden

Team needs in order:

OL, DT, CB, LB, WR

not a bad read but i dont think the dolphins will have to trade own.. IMO they'll have the pick somewhere in that range alreadywithout having to trade down.

do you really want a 5'8''-5'9'' CB going up against those 6'1''-6'4'' WR who've had their way with our secondary...i don't,but that's me...whenever we do draft a CB...i'd like that guy to at least have the height to match up with those bigger WR...but again, that's just my opinion...

I hear you buddy. Actually Smith is in response to all the short/slot receivers popping up across the league (IE. Welker, Royal, Bess, Jackson, Smith). Its a trend thats here to stay. He matches up well with those types. In a perfect world we somehow get Nhamdi A. from the Raiders or Dunta R. to give us three top flight corners. Smith, Allen and one of the FAs.

smiths lack of size def hurts his stock but that kid makes plays like no other. if he was 6ft hed be a top 10 pick. i wouldnt take him in the first but if he slipped to the 2nd ide definitely grab him. i really wanna get another olb with our first pick, a guy like stinim, or curry, but now people are saying curry could go top 8

If I had to guess I would say that it's Tuna's opinion also...and that's the one that is going to matter.

Raji, Delmas, and English on the 1st day would be gravy in my book. The closer the draft gets, I think the more a guy like Clint Sintim, who'd really fit our system will rise, and if we're picking after the Patriots, I think he's off the board. Raji, although not a sexy pick, would be a very solid pick in round 1.
