I think we are playing better and Cincinnati looks awful. Ryan is out for the Falcons and Washington is bad. We should be top five but could easily be #3 or 4 and not #1.
People seem to feel Tua is the clear number 1, but we may have to choose from Fromm, Herbert, Love, etc. I am not against that as their have been big QB busts in the past. Ryan Leaf and do you remember Jamarcus Webb from LSU? The second or third QB choice could be the better pick.
I do not want to package pics and move up. Too many holes to fill.

Love???? Nooooo.

Burrow.

But ya, its a definite possibility. Though, if we are sold on Tua then why arent we developing Prince at RT? he looked legit in the game he started.

The difference is we are tanking, everybody is trying to lose, according to Finheaven, so we will lock it up.

Maybe against the grain, but Fromm. I'm not sold on Herbert. He could be great, but would have to be in right situation. Haven't seen enough of Burrow. Fromm isn't the athlete some of the others are, but he's probably the most like Tom Brady from this group. Perhaps Miami could get Young and Fromm with the pick from Pittsburgh???

So Herbert would have to be in the right situation but Fromm wouldn't have to be? He has one of the best O-lines in front of him plus the best RB in the country doing all the work. Here he wouldn't have neither a great O-line nor a great RB. I'm not sold on Fromm. Doesn't seem like the guy that would be able to carry a team.

For me one of the toughest things to evaluate is the quarterback with great receivers or poor receivers. The quarterback with a great offense of line or a poor offense of line. So what should we look for? Footwork? Arm mechanics? Intelligence?

How long is Ryan out? Wouldn’t surprise me if cinci benched dalton soon for Finley.

Well, they all need to be in the right situation obviously. I just think there's more boom or bust in Herbert, but maybe that's unfair.

I look for accuracy and how quickly they can process information. Tua and Fromm do both very well. I haven't watched the other QB's mentioned enough to make a statement about them.

The Bengals OLine is worse than ours and completely banged up missing 4 starters. Their defense is not overly terrible but look, they are favored to get the #1 pick, they'll be underdogs to the Dolphins in Week 16

I think the Bengals are now in tank mode since they have nothing else to play for this season. They play the Dolphins in Miami in the next to last game of the season for both teams. If they are tied for the #1 draft pick when that game is played, I suspect the Dolphins will win the game and the Bengals will end up with the first pick in the draft.

I will be pissed if we have to suffer through this season and the best we end up with is Fromm as the teams QB. I just don’t see him as anything but a below average starter in the NFL and he will likely end up as no-more than a backup within a few years.

There are at least five QB’s in the draft who are better prospects than Fromm. They are Tua, Burrows, Herbert, Love, Hurts, and I would even prefer Eason over Fromm at the NFL level.
