Unless the Fins intend on carrying two kickers on the roster this season, Olindo Mare is either going to be cut or traded. I was just wondering what we could get for him. I'm hoping for another draft pick. The question is: What round?

If Mare gets anything higher than a 6th rounder, I'm going to ask Mueller to teach me the lessons of mind tricks because it would take that to get so much from Mare.

why would any team trade us any thing for mare. everyone knows we are gonna drop him if noone will trade for him, so why wouldnt they take him for free compared to a draft pick. the only way we could use him is if we wanted to move up in the draft we could use him in the trade even though he wont be worth much. it was the same situation with david carr.

Very good point. If we can't trade him straight up, then he might be able to be packaged in some sort of trade.

Mare has value. His kickoffs are tremendous. And if you haven't suffered the misses like we did last season, his career numbers hold up.

we already gave mare his bonus, so theres no way we'll cut him. Prolly a seventh, maybe, just maybe, a sixth rounder if we're lucky for him. Or like you guys have said, maybe in some package deal.:dolphins:

His value is NOTHING
Teams know we cant keep 2 kickers and it's just a matter of time before he is released so his value will be 0

I love internet GMs, they're always so damn correct  J/k ron, we all thought he was worth nothing, but a 6th is pretty damn close to it. The value was that the Saint's wouldn't have to outbid anyone, just get him.

When u make it to the NFC Championship game w/ a first year head coach . . u know there isn't many holes to fill . . . . unlike us, they can afford to waste a few picks to sure up a few areas. Olindo will probably have a great season kicking in that dome.

OK, who are the three people that voted for a FIRST rounder :ninja: :shakeno:

I voted 6th round after he was traded do I get a prize for picking the right round?
