Draft Picks

I thought we had 3 2nd round picks this year. Ours, Wes Walker to New England, and Chris Chamber to San Diego? Am I wrong?

yes, you are mistaken. The Wes 2nd rounder and the 7th were in last years draft not this years.

With them we selected S. Satele and A. Wright.

Currently 7 (all but 2nd from SD is #1 overall in its respective round)

1st, 2nd, 2nd (SD), 3rd, 4th, 6th, 7th.

(we traded our 5th to KC for Trent Green).

Some folks think we could pick up a Compensatory pick but that is yet to be confirmed.

Depending on FA moves (if picks are involved) or draft day moves, we could acquire others.

So far we WILL get one compensatory pick. The draft needs to have 255 players taken. With the Patriots, Ravens and Chargers all forfeiting picks, the total with the 32 compensatory picks which are not out equals 253. So, they fill those last two spots starting in order as if it was round 8. Miami picks first in round 8, so we will have the 255th pick. The Rams will pick Mr. Irrelevant.
