If you're looking for great, comprehensive analysis with accompanying video, do yourself a favor and check out Brett Kollmann's YouTube content. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCYzfVBuCfGz-oF3aOCGgO5g

Not only do you learn a lot about each player's relative strengths and weaknesses, but you learn more about how each player fit into their college team's scheme and how each player might fit into a pro scheme. Kollmann also breaks down each video without falling into the trap of coach speak. When the analysis does get technical, his explanations are brief and easy for fans to understand. Great stuff for draft fans.

His breakdown of Jabrill Peppers was excellent. People forget that Peppers was an outstanding CB before moving to LB for the team.

Peopers at 22 is Miami adding talent to the defense and worrying about positions later. It is adding a good person in addition to arguably the best defensive player in the country last year in college football.

Although Willis is my top choice as an edge defender . . . Peppers at 22 would get me grinning at the possibilities of him on defense and around guys like Jones, Timmons, Suh and Wake.

Dang, you had to go and do that. ;-) I had written Peppers off as a possibility because I thought others would be a better fit. I think I know who the Dolphins will pick, but now I may have to reconsider.

Great find. Does this guy have a website? He could definitely at least become another Scott Wright.

My gut has been telling me Peppers if he's there at #22. Would certainly be an interesting pick and one that I think many on this board would not like based on comments I have read.

I don't know if Peppers gets there, but Miami is spending a lot of it's allotted visits on safety prospects so that tells you something.

If Peppers is gone, I think Davis is someone who makes a ton of sense. The problem there is that Miami doesn't seem to value linebackers. I think the last #1 pick for the Dolphins at linebacker was Kim Bokamper. That's going back a long way. But, at the same time the team has paid for devaluing that position and maybe this front office will see things differently.

A pass rusher is a good bet as well. Lots of ways the Dolphins could go.

Jackie Shipp. #14 overall in 1984. Ugh.

Yikes. Forgot about Jackie Shipp. Recently, I believe Koa Misi is the highest pick (2nd round) that Miami has made at the position. The team has been trying to band aid that position for a long time with very little success.

I think part of the devaluation is being a 4-3 defense for so long. In that sense, you certainly need more defensive linemen than linebackers. Plus, Miami has been trying to fix the offensive line for years.

Just finished watching all of his current 2017 videos. He does a great job of dumbing things down where someone like me with a lack of knowledge and experience can understand.

Kollman projects Peppers as a SS or a slot Corner. Kollman did revise his outlook on Peppers after watching his combine then going back and re-evaluating Peppers games.

Peppers is an interesting prospect but doesn't fit a premium need for the Dolphins.

The Dolphins need a long term answer at safety to team with Reshad Jones. They need a slot corner who is better than what they currently have on the roster. As much as slot corners plays in today NFL...

I know fans keep saying the team needs a FS but the last time I looked, the team doesn't use their safeties in the traditional FS/SS configuration.

One thing I'm interested in is how many other teams use safety's in the same way as the phins like to. I don't recall hearing much about interchangeable safety's in many other defenses. Curious if anyone else has insight regarding this trend
