I figure I will add this up here.

As of now, we are # 1 or # 2 in the draft tied with the Cards. Say it ends this way, the Cards will not take a QB. So for argument sake, lets say we get the top pick.

Brady Quinn is sitting there, do you take him?

My take is only once in a blue moon do you get a chance for a blue Chip QB (And I know for every good one, a Ryan Leaf can show up), but Quinn is being coached by a good OC in Weiss and should be good in the Pro's. I say you need to take him even with Harrpepper on the team.

The only way I don't, is someone is willing to pay a Kings Ransom for him. I don't have the chart, but maybe a #1, # 2 and #4 this year and a few sprinkled in next year.

What do you do.

ugh. I honestly have no idea. I really never thought that this is something I would have to think about.

I guess you take Quinn. Fortunately, by the time the draft arrives, Quinn may become Manning like in his hype. If that happens, then trade down option may actually become feasible.

Here's hoping this question becomes irrelevant.

I have never been a Notre Dame fan, I hope they lose each week (I may be the only Irishmen to do so!), but man he comes up and big spots.

I hope we come out after the break and win also, but this half full glass I have is springing leaks all over my table!!:boohoo:

Something bugs me about the Quinn Hype Machine. I can't quite place it, but I have some nebulous misgivings about the guy.

I think a large part of it will have to do with how Caunte's rehab goes.

My main problem is he is very Brady like, and I hate Brady!

I hate Brady, but god I would love him on my team...

Good question/ post, as I am not sure what I would do. I am worn out giving/using picks for QBs. I am in the Calvin Jackson camp, but I am hoping that there is so much demand for him or Quinn and whomever becomes the hot pick that we are able to trade down to get more picks in the draft and still get a player. If we were to go later first round, what would you go for, O-line or D-line/ secondary, or would you just stay with a skill position on O?

lol, I'd hate having Brady on the Dolphins too

Quinn seems to have it all physically, and doesn't shrink under the lights. I'll probably never be completely sold on another college QB. It seems like such a crap shoot. But, I'm no scout.

I'm all about the line. Be it offense or defense. I've never seen a successful offense or defense that didn't have a successful line. Our OL has been under-invested long enough. It would still come down to whether the appropriate talent was there to justify the pick though.

I saw bellow Boomer said he thinks if we have the top pick, he would say its 20% we take a QB.

I guess the best hope is if we are there, it becomes a Quinn frenzy and we get tons of picks, we need help all over, but again, I just have a feeling about Quinn.

Getting mighty ugly in VIP today also??:(

Since I am not a draft guy, is Calvin Johnson that special or is it more like a Braylon Edwards type of guy?

He really seems special, but Edwards was/is too. I still think Edwards will be an All-Pro if healthy.

maybe, maybe we trade down to get more picks, because we have alot to fix. But you are right, when will we draft that high again to get a Qb ....franchise qb. tough call.

'sup brother.

What are the chances that someone will want to trade up? I mean is this draft class that special. Are Calvin Johnson and Brady Quinn worth it?

Calvin Johnson is very special. If we do pick in the top 3, that's who I want.
