I know there are a million of these lists but it looks like Rivers is rated fairly low, dont you think we can get him later on 3rd round maybe? Go after a OL early. Do you think there is a chance of landing a top notched OL through FA, (like Orlando Pace)?

this list is from http://scout.theinsiders.com/a.z?s=211&p=9&c=12&yr=2004&nid=83&pid=10

I'm not saying we have to go after Rivers in round 1, but, he will not likely last to round 3 and our slot. Hard to say. It will depend on the rest of the workouts.

Also, there are several other draft boards (I don't have any idea whose this is), that have him higher.

Now, if the consensus were that he were ranked 10-12th among QB's by almost everyone - then yes, that would make you say, "wait, don't go for this guy."

Ultimately, however, the Dolphins have about 12 people who've rated the guy for every individual's draft board. And, they will go by their own scout ratings rather than what the amateur's think.

This year will be a big test for Rick Spielman. Now he'll have control over the choice, not just the scouting. Will be interesting to see a) how he does in the draft; and b) how well he drafts to fill certain needs.

There is NO WAY that Rivers will fall to the 3rd. I doubt he'll even drop to the 2nd. He is the third best QB in the draft (him or Losman) and there are a ton of teams out there who need a QB.

Isn't Andrew Walter staying? I doubt he comes out, but if he does, he should be ahead of Rivers.

I like Josh Harris in the 3rd.

No way we take an OLB...that's the last thing we need...we will draft Reggie Williams at 13(if not already taken)

Need a link. Copyright laws. :)

I'm a Bills fan btw;)

at 13th you have us taking OLB Derrick Johnson. The only way I see us drafting an OLB is in the 5, 6, or 7th rounds...we will most likely draft Reggie williams if available

Won't Losman be falling after having a bad showing recently? There's an article around here that really laid into him as well as Rivers. There was another QB that had a good showing, can't think of his name and he's not on the above list either.

CW - I don't think this is a mock draft - just player rankings. Big difference. I don't see Miami taking an OLB at #20 either.
