Some teams have already started to sign their rookies. As far as I know, we have not signed anyone yet and NONE of the first rounders are signed yet.OG54 said:So, when do we sign out players. I know what they are saying about ronnie brown and alex smith, but what about everyone else. Camp starts in less than a week.

I'm going to guess Crowder and down are done by the start of camp, Roth is done no later than the second day of camp, and that Ronnie misses 10 days (on the calendar -- I'm not sure off the top of my head if they take any days off in camp).
any player must be under contract to participate in a team's camp whether it's a rookie or not although I do think that you can sign a wavier to participate temporarilyThemajster said:I know this may sound like a stupid question but is it just his way of holding out not going to camp to get the money he wants in his contract? Or is it just a general thing with rookies not to go to camp until signed?
If it's just about money they should still go to camp. I know it's more pressure on the orginazation to get the contract done early to get the player in camp, but if you're going to start, you need as much practice and experience as possible.
