Saban will continue to look to build this team with physical players. With that in mind here are some early round posibilities.

Round 1
Marcus McNeil (Lt/Rt Auburn) -- very likely pick if he's there. A position of need and a guy you run behind on 3rd/4th and short.
Jay Cutler (Qb/Vanderbuilt) -- strong willed. Could go higher than #16.
Claude Wroten (DT/LSU) -- playmaker in the middle. Saban recruit.
Chad Greenway (OLB/Iowa) -- a do-it-all linebacker. A need for a strong 3-4.
Michael Huff (CB/S Texas) -- nice instincts. Position of need. May be top 10 pick, though.
Laron Landry (S/LSU) -- would seem like a perfect fit at a need position.
Eric Winston (LT/Miami) -- nice intangibles, but may be overrated.
DeMeco Ryans (LB/Alabama) -- may be a bit too small for Saban's liking, but he makes a ton of plays, too many to ignore. Zach type instincts.

Round 2
Jonathan Scott (Lt/Texas -- moves really well, although maybe not physical enough. Maybe late 1st/early 2nd kind of guy.
Manny Lawson (DE/OLB North Carolina) -- some Jason Taylor comparisons.
Andrew Whitworth (RT/LSU) --- physical run blocker. Might work at guard as well.
Cedric Griffin (CB/Texas) -- might have moved up w/Rose Bowl performance.
Omar Jacobs (QB/Bowling Green) -- project w/lots of upside. Not sure what round he'll go in. Maybe later than this.
Will Blackmon (CB/Wr Boston College) -- team player. Potential shutdown corner.
Jeremy Trueblood (RT/Boston College) -- not quite as physical as Saban might want.
Bobby Carpenter (LB/Ohio State) -- I really like this guy and feel he's underrated.
Charles Spencer (OG/Pittburgh) -- can move the pile.
Alan Zemaitis (CB/S Penn State) -- 6-2 w/decent speed, good character.
Jason Avant (WR/Michigan) -- a 6-1 version of OJ McDuffie? Clutch guy.
Gabe Watson (DT/Michigan) -- might slip to second round. Amazing talent, but maybe not a hard enough worker.
Greg Blue (S/Georgia) -- Louis Oliver type?
Pat Watkins (S/Florida State) -- 6-4 w/decent speed.

Round 3
Brodie Croyle (QB/Alabama) -- if he stays healthy will be a steal.
Charlie Whitehurst (QB/Clemson) -- has the physical tools. Can he read defenses? Can a good coaching staff get it out of him?
Dominique Byrd (TE/USC) -- not really a need, but a nice player.
Todd Watkins (WR/BYU) - nice size/speed combo.
Greg Enslinger (C/Minnesota) -- might be too small, but great worker.
Babatunde Oshinowo (DT Stanford) - run stuffer.
Victor Adeyanju (DE/Indiana) - a sleeper.
Justin Wyatt (CB/USC) -- small, but could be a solid nickel back.

How long before this is moved?

5 ... 4 ... 3 .... 2 .... 1 ......

You forgot Winston Justic in the 1st.

He's our best choice outside of Cutler.

Also where's Cromartie, Jason Allen?

Drew Stanton in the second round could be a great pick. That would allow us to go McNiel in the First.

The two games i saw of Stanton, he looked like a terrific QB prospect.

Nice post and a good read.I like that guy Oshinowo...tons of talent and if we can get him in the 3rd round he could turn out to be another Crowder in terams of round he was picked and production. The guy I like is Greenway other than Cutler and also McNeil if he's there.Wisnton is missing there and he's also posible in the 1st.

Ozzy rules!!

Getting caught with some weed will hurt his chances going 1st day, much less 1st round. I'm not sure anyone has Wroten as a 1st round pick anyway.

out of that list i would make my top three like this:

1st Round- Marcus McNeil
2nd Round- Griffon/ Carpenter/ Blackmon
3rd Round- Brodie Croyle

Tell me what you guy's think about Anthony Smith @ SS for the fins, he's a bit small but he makes a lot of big plays.

Draft

Whith the 16th pick The Miami Dolphins select Chad Greenway LB Iowa.
