Draft Tek mock 3/17/09

I honestly think if the Fins draft looks anything like Draft Tek's I would cry. Plus there are things that do not make sense. Would you really take Percy Harvin & Pat White? Why? So we can have 3 guys that can run the "wildcat"? I think Michael Johnson is going to be a huge bust, he has workout warrior written all over him, I am praying the Jets take him so they can pair him with Gholston. :chuckle:

Have to say I would be quite pissed if things worked out that way.

I'm not even sure that Harvin can throw the ball, so the question is, as it was pointed out to me, is what position in the wildcat would he play? The wildcat isn't a huge issue to me- if the interior OL was better last year we wouldn't have needed it. I could do without the Pat White pick and use the pick to bolster a weak position. MJ- scares me, too, but at some point you have to think of value. The guy went from a top 5 prospect to someone people are scared to take at #44- that's quite a fall. I could live with Harvin/Johnson/Francies, but yes, Johnson scares me.

I would rather us pick up Robiskie. He will be more our style and be ready to start much sooner.

Florida ran a version of the wildcat with Percy getting the direct snap, they just called it "Percy, run the ball." Percy's Pro Day is today I believe, I am just not sold that he is that big of a playmaker, if what we need is another small WR, and if the FO would really take him - he is a popular choice for the Fins on mock drafts, just dont know.

Sorry but your picks are down right terrible.I cannot see us wasting our number 1 pick on someone who may see 5 or 6 plays a game and out of those 5-6 plays he might get 2 touches per game...come on
