What is the average time until the 25th pick? It starts at 4pm ET time?

There is no shameless behaviour in my past. Come on Fans!!
 
no idea. but IMO, this is one of the least fun drafts in years. im not even interested in watching it until we are nearing being on the clock. and might not even then.
 
ill just leave it on the station, i got a dvr so i can just rewind it if i miss it.

Well each team gets 10 minutes per pick. So thats 4 hours before we pick if every team takes the whole time. Which for some ungodly reason they take every single second possible. It kills me to watch sometimes. Like the 1-4 picks you pretty much know who your taking so why take the whole time esp #1. I mean as soon as it starts take the pick. So if you tune in around 7:20-7:30 you should be good to see our pick.

Ya pretty much. Used to be 15 minutes, the new 10 min format is better.

Occasionally you'll get some fast picks and trades, its unlikely we will trade up, but oyu never know, and if we do, youll miss it.

I'd say for the first round though, it is an average of 7 picks per hour. So you'll probably want to make sure your near a TV about 3 hours in 7:00pm ish (Draft used to start at noon, but I guess they moved it to 4pm this year)

The 4pm start is actually good for me, as every year I end up having my kids' Little League games and listen to the first dozen or so picks on the walkman. Should actually be able to sit and watch the start of the draft this year.
 
If I had to give it a SWAG, each team normally runs the clock down so figure 4 hours. Add in 2 minutes between each pick for the Commissioner to announce the pick. Based on this my guess is that at 8:58 pm DST, Roger Goodell will announce, "With the 25th selection of the 2009 NFL draft, the Miami Dolphins select Darius Butler, CB, University of Connecticut."
