how ****ty would it be if we went on a win streak similar like last year and came just short of the playoffs simliar like last year and ended up with a middle round pick instead of a nice top 10 or top 5 pick.

Why would the team with the best winning percentage in the NFL ever want to lose a game to get a higher draft pick. We want to win every game every time we play. Especially against the Jets and the Raiders. What are thinking?
That we should lose? Are you high?

You just try to win every game and let the cards fall where they may.

FANS do not want their team to lose no matter what! PERIOD!!! Just remember, top 5 picks are EXTREMELY costly as well and would take money away that we could use elsewhere. I swear, some people!

Amen.

I don't understand why so many fans would rather throw away the season for position in the draft. A true fan would want their team to win. I mean look what all those high, first round picks have done for arizona and detroit over the years

So long as we have a chance at the playoffs we have to try to win. We have three beatable opponents coming up so it looks like .500 isnt that far off. Until we lose two more times you gotta root for them

who's to say that the middle of the pack pick isn't the guy we're looking at to fill a certain position .. we get J.Allen at 16th last year .. and he hasnt even been giving a fulll season to develop and what people gave up on him .. what about Polamalu .. didn't start a single game until after his rookie season and proved to be one of the fiercest DBs in the league .. no one says that the guys in the top ten are guareenteed playmakers .. they're just guys who get picked first to fill needs of teams who stunk up the league before and need changes .. middle of the pack picks are teams that play well together and need to fill a few holes .. thats where we stand now .. and as long as we don't pull that wanny crap and trade away picks and blow up the cap .. we should be alright

I want to win every game......those who want us lose to get a better pick need a reality check. Look at last year's Pittsburgh Steelers...they had to win pretty much every one of their last 4-5 games just to make the playoffs as a wild card, and then they ran the table and won the SB. I think we can run the table as well, if we play smart football....it is a long shot, but we can do it.
