ROFL, let's be honest, that's a pipe dream ... and Scott seems to be the one smoking. I dare say that there are some teams on that one that would be shocked at how good their draft days went if that were to unfold, and those teams include us, the Patriots, Detroit ... it's just a wacky scenario. OK, let's start with this one, who thinks Everette Brown will be drafted behind all 3 USC 'backers? No hands? Good, we have no idjits here then. OK, who here thinks that will happen AND that Hakeem Nicks lasts until our 2nd round pick? Still no hands ... good, we will not be needing those straight-jackets then.

I humbly submit that Scott Wright's excellent website is attempting to drive people to his website with an extremely skewed mock draft. On the plate today, us, and we're eating it all up with glee.

Well that would be perfect but no chance it happens, all 3 of those players will be gone by those spots.

This is the NFL Draft...The most puzzling mystery we have ever witnessed. So who is to say that Scott's mock is skewed or not. Mock drafts are all smoke screen BS so who really knows and there are so many examples to back it up

Brady Quinn to Miami.. Ends up falling to the bottom of the 1st round
Lions drafting a million WRs year after year, fail after to fail
Parcells going for the "wrong" Long.. Jake, while everyone was saying Chris
Jags taking 2 DEs really early last year..
Lets face it.. We're smarter than most of these GMs and we'll never understand how these picks are made but every year the draft continues to be strange...so when Everette Brown or Mark Sanchez or BJ Raji falls to the bottom of the 1st round, dont be surprised! Anythings possible

brown is a top 10 talent, and nicks might be gone when we pick, i hope not though

I completely disagree about Everette Brown. While he is decent at rushing the passer, he is small and not very fast and he gets washed in the running game with ease. Larry English in my opinion is the better choice with the 1st round pick if the trifecta decides to go for that position early.

My gut feeling tells me the 25th pick is going to be 1 of 3 players; Michael Johnson DE/OLB Georgia Tech. Larry English OLD NIU, or Darius Butler CB Uconn. I really can not see us taking a wideout in the 1st round.

I will be so happy if we end up with Everette Brown. Not only is he a great player, but a great person and a leader in the locker room. I don't think he'll last long enough for us, unfortunately.

If we let Maualuga get that close to us just to let the Patsies get him I will be thoroughly upset.

that would be perfect. couldnt actually imagine it happening though

Could you imagine if that is how it pans out. Miami would be in a great position after day one, we could focus on the BPA the rest of the draft.
