I was doing some research and thinking. If the Dolphins continue on with the "Wildcat" offense, I think Pat white could be a pretty cool pick in the second or 3rd round if he is available. The wildcat plays that we use has made a comeback in the NFL and it's exciting and fun to watch. Ive heard people say that they rarely watch football and when the Dolphins were on t.v they would stop to watch for a bit to see some trickery. With the talent we have on offense it seems to me like we have the tools to continue this formation and be highly successful in the Nfl. The cool thing is that we are bringing out the best in the offensive players we have, the arm strenght of Pennington, the brusing a ability of the bg back in ronnie, the burner in Ted Ginn who can also throw the ball and the speed and hands of Ricky Williams. To add Pat White gives us another person who can get up field in routes and also throw the ball. We are not like every other team in the Nfl, we have talent, some no names but what the trifecta is preaching is the effectiveness of team ball and no big named bone heads. I love how Parcells and the Dolphins are changing the way teams play. I know Pat White isn't the most popular choice and I understand that we do have other needs, most on defense but still would be pretty neat to get this kid.

You can't use a second or third round pick on a guy who's not going to start for you at any position. Using a second or third round pick on a guy you only want to sub into a certain formation is crazy. If he was there in like the 5th round, then yeah i'd consider it. But not that early, not when you have other needs.

Dude you really could have posted this on one of the other 50 threads on Pat White.

But I would mirror what SpaceMountain said, going for White in the first three rounds is too early.

I don't really jump on this too much. I cant wait to see 10 other kids wasting they're time telling me to post on pat white threads. It's funny to me how people freak out when posting about someone..don't read it if it hurts that much

I like players who contribute on a MAJORITY of the plays with my first 3 rounds.

100 percent agreed, same to be said of Percy Harvin and Micheal Johnons

percy harvin might be overdrafted, but he'll be a heck of a player at the next level... he might end up being a top 15 pick, and a playmaker with no consistency like him or reggie bush or ted ginn, shouldn't be drafted that high, but hey they sell tickets, they bring excitement, and they sometimes bring that spark much needed to dull/anemic offences.

michael johnson is a boom or bust type imo... so you can't call it reaching for a player, but rather gambling.

I say lets try to ship Beck for a 3rd or 4th round pick then draft White he will be good in the wild cat christ imagine if we drafted White and Harvin damn
