This certainly isn’t the worst mock. We get our QB so the Tua fans are happy. 3 picks out of our top 5 are spent on the O-line so fans of that rout would be happy.

All in all, I could live with a similar draft to this.

First round is pretty much the best we can realistically hope for. Don’t like the lack of safety, if it played out like that then Winfied Jr then Dobbins would be a better combo in the second round.

It would be nice for a S at some place but the truth is, we can’t fix every hole in one off season.

They've been doing a wisdom-of-the-crowd mock on the draft forum at Footballsfuture.com. Lots of sharp guys there, similar to here. The first round from this mock is exactly the way it played out on that site -- Tua at 5, Josh Jones at 18 and Ruiz at 26.

My take was similar to yours, that I loved the Ruiz pick but not crazy about Jones at 18.
