Drake And Gore Will Be Special. Why That’s So Crucial To Tannehill And Dolphins’ Season

There was so much to get lost in Sunday as the Miami Dolphins opened their season with a home win, and I’m not even talking about the four hours of lightning delays that made it a game unlike any other — the longest in NFL history.


There was quarterback Ryan Tannehill making his first start since Dec. 11, 2016.

Let me tell you why I can't stand reporting like this.

He says Fins are better when Tannehill throws less. 16-7 when RT throws less than 30x/game and 22-33 when 30 or more.
But who gives a sh$& what RT's record was those first few years, and why would it have ANY relevance to our offense now?


Since Gase took over, the Dolphins are 4-1 when THill has passed 30 or more times, and 4-3 when he passes less than 30.

So, big middle finger to that first conclusion. The bottom line is that Fins are better when they have both a running and passing attack, which theyre starting to have consistently under Gase. Duh!!!!!!!

Some games we'll need to pass more, some we'll need to run more. We have a team that can do either fairly well.

Get gore more run inside the tackles. He doesn’t hesitate like drake does at times.

For 35 he’s got terrific feet.
