@RapSheet: With Arian Foster out, the #Dolphins are treating rookie RB Kenyan Drake as the starter today, source said. Opportunity awaits.

I love this, i hope he grabs the chance and runs with it. He is the only Dolphins rb that has impressed me this year

I just saw that. I'm excited to see what he does with this opportunity.

Well. even if he does bounce 80% of his runs outside, he does seem to have enough speed to get the edge. Yards are yards and right now, considering how our run game has been, I'll take it. I also like that Drake doesn't give up on a play and is looking to score every time he touches the ball.

I still think Miami needs to go spread offense full time, but I like this Drake starting. He looked legit

Looking forward to seeing what Drake can do. What is Pead's status?

Hmmm..wonder who is inactive? I got to say, after watching Thursday's game I don't miss Lamar Miller a bit, he'll be the same average back forever.

Someone has to shine against this dreadful Browns team. Hopefully it's Drake. If for nothing else so we can use Drake memes.

He was overpaid....we saw enough to know what he was.

He is not...and never will be an elite, great runningback.

He has awesome speed and thats his strength...great backs have much more than that.

Coaching staff has a clue!!

Except he was really good and explosive at ALABAMA so how random could it be

Rap. just reported that Williams and Pead missed a mtg last week and that's why they were both inactive last week.

These backs have opportunities but sure doesnt look like that do them selves much favors so far.

You can count me closer to fully supporting Gase with this news. I want to see wins more than anything else in order to sell me on Gase as a head coach but I really like this a lot.

Lol oh gawd Ajayi can't beat out a rook lol

Yeah.....seems like Gase ain't tolerating any bullsh*t....about time. Never was too fond of Williams but I was pulling for Pead to get a chance.....hope it was just a one off mistake and he can make up for it.

There was another situation that week, however. Running backs Damien Williams and Isaiah Pead missed a meeting prior to the game and were made inactive for the loss to the Patriots. Another message sent through discipline, one the players received loud and clear. Time will tell if there are any more corrections necessary.
