This could would be a GREAT addition for depth with Vontae gone. Hope we sign him!
 
He is a FA based on years of service.
 
Dunno, in his prime yes. Tho he has lost a step or two by most reports.
 
I am pushing for the young guys. I want youth on this team. I know there is a need for veteran leadership, but I don't want temporary situations to ruin development.
 
He is not what he use to be, but he's damn sure better than what we had at #4 and #5
 
I really think there are a handful of guys out there that can cover.

Good luck trying to convince a 31 year old DB to come onboard a rebuilding project...not to mention his age would probably preclude Ireland signing him if he were interested.

Do you want work? I think with hundreds of other available players you don't turn down a work. He will never find a job that pays him like being an NFL player.

I would sign him to a one year just because of the lack of corners we have.

Do you think Miami will be his only option? If it is, and Ireland has mutual interest, he'll get signed but if he has other options Miami won't be at the top of the list. Same has been said about Jabar Gafney who said he would prefer a return to New England.
 
I watched the Bronco's preseason games living here in Colorado and Florence is decent...probably no worse than what we have. The Broncos have some nice young talent on defense and some good pass rushers that we might take a look at.
