Dreaming...But what if? The Dolphins didn't trade to DALLAS, directly from 1 or didn't trade to them at all. And this scenario came up:

The St. Louis Rams fall in love with DT Glen Dorsey and they offer the Fins the number 2 pick and their 3rd & 5th rounder for the 1st. Lets stop right their would you take it?

Well the scenario goes on, holding the second pick they hear from the number 4 team (OAK) whose scared to death they'd loose a shot at RB Darren McFadden so they offer the Fins the number 4 pick and their second to move up to number 2. So far I like it, how about you?

Sounds like a dream come true, we're out of one, picked up 3 picks and we're still in the top 5. Over right, heres where we pick right, but no theirs another phone call, this time its the Broncos and they want DT Sedrick Ellis to sure up their run defense, they fell in love with him at the combine, and now want to trade the 12th overall pick AND, AND WR Javon Walker for the number 4 pick, what do you say now, would you take it?

And just to finish up the Dolphins deal Jason Taylor to the Jags for their late first rounder, to give them that badly missed pass rush they lacked against the Pats, we also ship Zach Thomas to Cinncy for a 4th rounder or a conditional pick in 2009, to give them a professional and leader in the locker room. I did this just to throw some scenarios out their. But they all are plausible individual trades (from 1 to 2 or 1 to 4...etc.) and even resemblely something that could collectively happen (1 to 2, 2 to 4 and 4 to 12).

That would give us the 12th pick, a late first from the JAGUARS, the 32nd (an extra first, thanks Pats) OAKLANDS second, the CHARGERS second, and two thirds. First playing GM, what moves would you make, what would you leave out, and who would you draft, you can also swap the move to 4 with a trade to DALLAS for their two first round picks. How does that sound?

If the first two parts actually played out (in imaginary dreamland), Long would probably be there at #4 (assuming Falcons take Ryan). So we got Long without paying him #1 money, and got an extra 2nd, 3rd, and 5th in the process. Obviously, that'd be pretty sweet.

But two quick trade downs like that are practically impossible. I could see Oakland wanting to jump to #2 to take DMac, but doubt the Rams would want to move to #1 to take Dorsey. They'd probably be willing to risk us (or whoever's #1) passing on him....

I can't see the St Louis Rams doing this just to move up ONE spot.

I'm good moving down to Oakland's pick at #4 and taking at that point either Sedric Ellis or Chris Long. Its close. Let's take Ellis and Mock this:

1) Ellis (DT)
2a) Fred Davis (TE)
2b) Mayo (ILB)
2c) Limas Sweed (WR-TEX)
3a) Nicks (OT)
3b) Terrell Thomas (CB)
4) Shawn Crable (OLB-Mich)
5) Kenny Iwebema (DE-Iowa)
6) Matt Flynn (QB)
7) Crummey (OG)

Nice. all those picks and still get Ellis or Long.

they would have to give more then shut Javon Walker.

Dreaming is pretty accurate. But I suppose we can hope a handful of teams are retarded.

Maybe if Pat Riley were coaching the Dolphins.

Trading ZT for a 4th rounder is dumb

I'm ok with the Rams & Raiders trades, but not the rest of it. Dropping from 4 to 12 and having to take on a whiner like Javon Walker ? No thanks.

Wow.

I can't believe a Mod deleted my post from like 2 days ago and everyones comments about it. LOL....

This thread is a joke...how can you possibly predict 3-4 trades happening within 1 team...? Not to mention the suitors. Its pointless to even "dream" about it. Its ridiculous.

My post about making a miraculous triple trade deal with NE and SEA for Samuel/Trufant didnt get any love from the mods too? Why not? After all - this is a dreaming land thread!

If you left click on your name in your avatar...it brings down a menu which says "More threads by PhinFan31," your thread wasn't deleted.

I could see JT going to the Eagles, that blitzing 4-3 would be prefect for JT. I wonder if Max Jean Gill is avaliable?

I did just that...but only see the most recent one above and then several others from diff threads and days...not the one that was #2 after the original thread makers post....just look up above. Its not there. Oh well, haha. My joke is dead.

Not only mine, like I said - all the comments to my post too cuz they had quoted it, lol...funny stuff
