From what I understand, Head coaches in the NFl are not allowed to wear a suit and tie on the sidelines. They must wear apparel that is "NFL" issued. I remember the days when Tom Landry and Dan Reeves wore a nice suit and tie as they were coaching. I am not saying today's coaches should wear one but has anyone seen Belichick lately?

Bellichick looks like a homeless guy I see on the subyway every once in a while. A big baggy sweatshirt with the sleeves cut off. Tha'ts ok with the NFl but suit and tie are a no no.

I know there are more important things to worry about, but for a league that is so wrapped up on image, they could surely do better here.

i read somewhere theyre allowing Nolan and Del Rio to wear a suit made by Reebok for 2 games.

You've got to be kidding me.

I'll be shocked if the league doesn't find a way to market and sell these in the near futurel.

Belichick is actually a pretty sharp dresser off the football field. I think he just wears the hoodie to thumb his nose over the dress policy. I think there was an NFL coach who wanted to wear a hat, in memory of Tom Landry, but he wasn't allowed to wear it because it violated policy.

The Nfl signed a contract with Reebok that gives reebok the exclusive rights to manufacture all NFL apparel. Part of that agreement states that Players coaches and other team personel must were NFL licensed reebok apparel on the sideline. I don't know if what Belichick wears on game day is ok with the nfl or not but its not like the league has a choice seeing they have a legal contract with reebok. I'm sure Reebok and the nfl considers the side line their advertising venue and it was probably a firm stipulation in the negotiations of the contract between the two parties. I think Beliechick wears that cut up gray hoodie just to thumb his nose up at all the parties involved. Its ratty and colorless but it is legal. Bill seems to exploit the league and its polices every chance he gets.

Those suits actually look quite creative and snazzy for a football game, but the fact that they're really only being made to make some deniro is disgusting.
