the saints would not let drew brees go. although technically he is not under contract, i believe that he cant just sign with anyone else, or u would hear a lot more about him if it was just that simple.

even if brees was allowed to leave hypothetically and go wherever he chose, why would he want to come to a team with no weapons on offense?

If they tagged with franchise tag, then wouldn't he get the average of the top 5 QBs in the league, which now includes Mannings unbelievable giagantic contract?
