Drew henson works out for the dolphins ???? ( see sun sentinel)
 
Everything I read on this guy led you to believe he completely crashed and burned in Dallas.

Wonder what they see in this guy?
 
Would he be better than Cleo as the third stringer???

Are you sure you read that correctly, and it didn't say Marlins? He has a better chance of succeeding in AA ball.
 
I wouldnt read too much into it.Saban likes to keep a book on players for the future.Henson didnt show much in Dallas but he has skills.Prototype size and arm .He had one of the highest Wondelic scores ever recorded.He has leadership problems.
 
Drew Henson is eligible to be signed to any teams practice squad. There were 3 other players who were also given workouts when Henson worked out:

Troy Fleming- (FB) 6'0" 245 3 Tennessee
Tyrone Calico- (WR) 6'4" 220 4 Middle Tennessee
Brad Pyatt- (WR/KR) 5'11" 195 4 Northern Colorado

* Fleming was a former starter with the Tennessee Titans. He was a 6th round draft choice of the Titans in 2004. Calico was one guy who many Dolphin fans screamed about drafting in the 2003 draft. He was a 3rd round pick of the Titans in 2003. Calico was a guy who ran the 40 yard dash in the 4.3's at 220+ pounds. He also had a great vertical leap but was considered raw and a project. Pyatt was an undrafted free agent with the Indianapolis Colts in 2003. He last played for the Rams as mostly a kick returner.

Wow has Calico hit the skids!
Just goes to show how the draft really is a bit of a roll of the dice even if you prepare well.
