The guy put up amazing stats this year... unreal considering he did it w/two back up wr's and his only legit wr's are Drew out of the backfield and Lewis at the TE. He's got a cannon and legit accuracy... Prob will be available in the middle rounds too.

a lot of people are high on him. I haven't seen enough of him to have an opinion, but what I've read sounds good, real good

The guy is a stud... Ive been to almost every Bruin game this year, and he's money. AND he did it with Ben Olson on his tail all year who was the projected starter this season... and he was the #1 qb recruit in the nation a couple of years back.

He's definitly worth a look at. He was a proven comeback winner also....umm until Arizona came a callin'. He looks good to me though.

really? the #1 recruit? I never heard of him till this year, but then again I am an SEC fan

I'm neutral on the whole USC/UCLA thing. IMO, Drew is only an averge QB. I give him credit for what he has accomplished this season but he doesn't seem like a real game changer.

and ouch... dont bring up zona. Well, I'm personally offering everyone on the site free tickets to mf upset city tomorrow when the BRUINS take down USC!!!

i dont think that will happen. reggie bush will go off tomorrow considering lendale might be out.

Olson in the middle rounds would be a decent investment. He compares favorably as a prospect with Cade McNown and other Pac-10 guys who were drafted in the first round...which shouldn't necessarily be considered a bad thing, because unlike Cade and all those other guys, the scouts know not to go start drafting Drew Olson in the first round. Olson in the 4th or 5th would probably be a decent investment to see if he turns up good. Shows a lot of grit to come back from an ACL surgery on January 7th of 2005, beat out the heralded recruit Ben Olson, and lead UCLA on the incredible run he's led them on...but his previous history warrants some proper skepticism.

im a UCLA fan and i agree.
No one expected for hi to have this type of season. It came out of no where especially after everyone was calling for his head. But i give the guy props and he deserves it.

Yup...lot of guts he showed. Worth a low-risk gamble...and I'd be all about it if we couldn't find some way to pick up Leinart, Quinn, or Cutler.

And what is it with playing QB and having the name Drew. Dang, they are everywhere....

Stanton, Olson, and Brees;all guys we might have a shot at.

I guess the same could be said of Quinn...before Weiss...he was average at best.
