Olson in the middle rounds would be a decent investment. He compares favorably as a prospect with Cade McNown and other Pac-10 guys who were drafted in the first round...which shouldn't necessarily be considered a bad thing, because unlike Cade and all those other guys, the scouts know not to go start drafting Drew Olson in the first round. Olson in the 4th or 5th would probably be a decent investment to see if he turns up good. Shows a lot of grit to come back from an ACL surgery on January 7th of 2005, beat out the heralded recruit Ben Olson, and lead UCLA on the incredible run he's led them on...but his previous history warrants some proper skepticism.
