Drew Rosenhaus thinks Jake will be signed this week.

Look I dont know if it was Drew being Drew or what, but on Sport Xtra he said Jake will sign this week and be the number one pick. He also had a Mock Draft, and here are his choices:

1st Jake Long LT Michigan

2nd(32) Chad Henne QB Michigan

2nd(57) Curtis Lofton LB Oklahoma

3rd(64) Patrick Lee CB Auburn

He will speak agian so I will post some of the other stuff he says. Look I know alot of you are gonna say Drew doesnt know anything, but he has his connections and you never know what he can find out.

Worse things have happened for Miami on draft day. As long as we are drafting a Long #1.

I'm sure he has good sources, but beyond the 1st pick it's all speculation, because even if he did know that we wanted those players he can't possibly know whether or not they'll still be there when we pick.....OR if someone we have a higher grade on that we didn't plan on being there falls and we put aside who we thought we were going to take and grab the value guy.

Too many variables

I'd think he'll draft an OLB before we draft an ILB...not sure about Lee and I don't think we'll go QB at 32

1) Jake Long

2a) Jackson, DE from USC or Marcus Harrison, DL from Arkansas

2b) Antoine Cason, CB Arizona


That makes more sense to me. I don't see the point in taking a 2nd round QB. If they've decided Beck isn't the answer then they need to draft Matt Ryan. If they don't draft Ryan they shouldn't draft a QB at all.

I don't think we'll draft an OLB unless we trade JT.

If we dont Trade JT I dont see the need in drafting an OLB till next year. A guy like Dan Connor or another stud ILB will be real nice.

i think ellis will be our pick for MLB to be hoenst and i think JT WILL be traded draft day. i also expect 2a to be traded away for a 2nd, and another 3rd with a 6th. last year the chargers moved up to get their safety weddle n switched 2nd,s gave a 3rd and a 5th. it should be possible esp. with this new draft chart.
