I can't have any respect for sports agents.



ok, maybe arliss michaels but only him
 
hate 'em. i think agents, with their huge salary demands are ruining the sport. How much money is enough? We, the fans, are the ones putting money in Rosenthief's pocket.
 
This guy is your typical sleeze-ball ambulance chaser. He just represents professional athletes. He is a meddler. He is also arrogant, it made me sick that ESPN was riding his coat-tails for so long. I will say though that he made Willis McGahee money. He went above and beyond for that guy.
 
I know its all about business, and that if the players dont get the money, the owners will...but, I think that Sports Agents are absolutely the lowest form of human life.

They really dont care about the fans, the players or the teams taht the players represent. It is about absolutely nothing but the money to them....

have to respect his hustle..he gets the job done and that needs to be applauded..he also has 71 clients who total 170 million dollars...so he gets 5% from that..not bad if you ask me
 
dolnt understand why everyone has such a deep hatred of him. Hes an agent its his job to get the players more money. NFL teams go back on their contracts so why cant players.

I agree. If you could get paid that much to work with athletes contracts, you would do it too.
 
Sports agents are like Billy Carter or Paris Hilton. Not talented, intellegent or hard working, but they do live off the talent and hard work of others.
 
I don't respect or hate him...I mainly think he is doing what all agents do....working to get the best contract they can for their players. His news conference defending TO's action was hilarious.

bingo...i dont see why people hate him, when if anyone else was in the positions he is in, would do the exact same thing.
 
I didn't vote in the poll b/c none of the possible answers apply. I'm not unsure, I know how I feel. I don't hate him and I don't necessarily respect. IMO he has some good qualities, some bad.

I've met him on a couple of occasions. My impression is that he is sleezy and not overly intelligent. Based on rumors I've heard from other agents some of his tactics are of questonable morality (other agents may have agendas, so take that for what it's worth). On the other hand he is a hard working guy who is very good at making his clients feel like they are his best friend.
 
Respect him. He trying to get his players what they want. Obviously he's good at what he does. Players asking for money is not ruining the sport. If it wasnt for these players there wouldnt be a sport.
