There is no way he is there at pick #40.

Either the browns, lions, take him in round 2 or he goes late round 1.

We have to hope someone else is the answer.

I hope they take him because Stanton is a long-term project that will require a lot of tinkering and a lot of time that we don't have.

No heartbreaker have you seen him play he has a lot of work to do at least2-3 years before he is ready. His play alone merits a 4th to 6th round pick, but he works out good so everyone wants him.

I too dont think he will be there when we pick. But there are other choices for the 2-3rd rd: Edwards, Kolb, Smith etc.

I agree, plenty of QB's that we could look at and Cam and Muler will get us a QB we can win with.

Ozzy rules!!

if the guy would have come out last year he would have been a second rounder he had a bad senior season which had to do with a terible team and bad coaching. To say his play only merits im in the 4th is rediculous

Especially with us being busy all the time game-planning for the playoffs and making a run at Super Bowls, where will we find the time to tutor a QB?

We certainly won't have the time to tutor him when he has to be shoved into the wolves' den because of injuries and inefficiencies of our current QB's.

I don't like Stanton. He's a tough kid but seriously watching him play at MSU wasn't exactly awe inspiring. He tends to make too many mistakes and is somewhat turnover prone especially in some bigger games. Just look at the ND fiasco this year. Once a choker always a choker.

Thank you, its not even like Cutler which showed flashes, this guy was just awful at times going by some games. I just think this guy just looks like another Joey Harrington, but will anyone listen to me :/? NOOOOOO.
