The Miami Dolphins Official site has him listed as a KR only, but the number he wears now is normaly for a Rb, not a Wr.

And don't think I'm trying to bust your cajones, he is listed as a Wr by NFL.com

Rogers was a running back in Seattle.
Buffalo listed him as a KR, same thing we did.
We r rumored to be putting him in the backfield and in the slot in certain formations.
He is very explosive, and I wouldnt mind him touching the ball a few extra times a game.

UltimateFinFan, love the Jimbo picture. Last year on a kick off Olindo went downfield and made a huge hit on the other teams kickreturner. Mandich yells out," Olindo Mare, you're a stud son!!!!" Several positions are wrong on Madden simply b/c players change positions. I remember when Ricks switched from WR to TE but Madden wasn't adjusted and there is no provision to change players positions. (You could play them there but you would need to carry other TEs on the roster to fill the min roster position req.) Rogers has switched back and forth throughout his career but he was rarely used as anything other than KR.

Regardless of what positon they are listed at, the coaching staff can still play them however they want come game time. I believe they are just letting people know that he's been seeing some time at RB during camps to see how he will perform. It always good to have a player that plays multiple positions. Then our offense will be a little less predictable. So the fact that he is listed as a WR on madden is really irrelevant. Thanks for the info guys, I had no idea that was a possiblity.

Nope. Rogers lists as both RB and WR. Wannstedt already said they are trying him in the slot. Look at the video, he was lighting it up as a RB and catching out of the backfield very well.

If he continues, this would be great. Because then we can cut Edwards, have Rogers as the 3rd/4th RB and keep Newson as the 5th WR..

Cutting Edwards would be a BIG mistake. As much as I lone Minor, he isn't the kind of grind it out RB that we need at back-up. Edwards is, and that makes him the guy to back up Ricky. Besides, he signed super cheap.
