DROPS! Im trying to figure it out... (Henne)

I was just playing Madden 12 and unfortunately, I suck at it. And to make matters worse I cant get my self to play with any other team than the Fins on it. Anyways Henne really sucks in Madden, well the whole team sucks actually. I get picked off all the time and get lucky the other half when defenders drop the INT.

Long story short, it got me to think about that stat from football insider that had defenders dropping only ONE int on Henne all season. I mean thats really messed up for so many reasons its not even funny! Confidence wise, how the FK do you not look up at the sky and ask for anwsers? Especially when your own players continually drop easy passes... im playing a game and always feel Im being somewhat cheated, imagine Henne must feel about his life...

This might not be thread material but I've been trying to find a reasonable explanation for this and all I can come up with is bad luck.

And this is not a ''Im making excuses for franchise chad'' just find this particular statline odd...
 
Lol, but it IS bad luck. Sometimes it is what it is, Having defenders never drop an interception on you is rarely seen in the NFL, It would really skew quite a few Stats up their fantasy wise, Poor Eli has it worse though with his receivers dropping and lobbing it straight through defenders....but he made up with it by throwing 31 Touchdowns vs all those interceptions.
 
The fins r fine in the game.. I used them and threaded the needle a few times with henne and blew out the jets...maybe its just u seeing as how u said u suck at the game lol
 
I think the Fins are great in the game. Reggie is extremely fast, although goes down easy. Gates blows by the slot corner on many go's too. DT has some powerful runs and good acceleration and the defense is stout. Just takes some getting used to.
 
It's luck, completely random. And like most random things, they tend to even out in time.

Chad will probably have around the same number of INTs this year, but his TDs won't be nearly as limited. Watch for his completion % to go down a bit, but his TDs to shoot up and his overall yardage to improve as well. It's a very different concept they're using with him this year, and it's probably going to pay off for good.
 
Also I'd like to add, please READ THE POST. It has virtually nothing to do with Madden...
 
i never use the dolphins on madden, way too underrated, the ratings have us like a 4-12 team which is what the country expects
 
I used the Phins online and I am 6-2 with Henne starting at QB and 2-0 with Pat starting.. Henne is garbage compared to Pat sadly, maybe because Madden overdid the accuracy and makes Henne always overthrow his WRs, by like 20 yards and Devlin is always putting it in the numbers or hands of the WRs. I swear Henne would have Bush WIDE open as a check down, and somehow chuck into the coaches..I mean, he isn't that bad now.. lol he did throw 61% last year..

Our offense is better, but its better with Pat in the game. Bess is great in the slot since his agility is so high, and Gates is great as a 2WR or 4WR. Its funny because Gates will drop passes when hes hit, but he can make some of the most spectacular one handed catches on the sidelines.. Bush is just too fast for any LB to cover and Brandon Marshall is a monster.. He doesn't drop a pass it feels like..
 
the fins and henne are fine in madden. im smashing everyone..henne is throwing bombs all day over the shoulder catches to marshall and bess.. just practice up..

Why do you think his % goes down? And I expect his INTs to go down and maybe 2-3 more TDs...
 
And to everyone giving me tips in madden... This was not my point...lol! thanks but I was talking about their ratings more or less and I'd appreciate it if we stayed on subject... I suck at madden, it is what it is...
 
If he throws a good ball, he won't put himself in a situation where he has to asks the football gods what why they smite his face. Pretty easy solution...
