DROPS! Im trying to figure it out... (Henne)

you say your throwing lots of pics, may i ask what kind of routes your running that are getting jumped?

Im a madden fanatic and play quite a bit (no i dont live in my moms basement, and im not unemployed) so i might be able to help you out.
 
In real life, I'm hoping that this is the year that Henne turns it around whether its luck, maturity, new OC, sacrifice to the gods ... whatever!

In madden, I'd be happy if the LBs didnt each have the ability to leap 10 yds in the air to swat everything down. I can use the phins to slaughter the cpu on rookie, win most games on pro (not by a large margin), and hardly win on higher levels. At the higher levels I can rarely complete a pass ... oh well, a gamer I are not.

I am 7 and 1 right now with the Phins..Henne is my starter...Thought about starting pat, but has a weak arm for me.. With Brandon Marshall on the phins if you get him one on one with a safety its over..You can switch to Marshall and grad the ball everytime..Also Bess has amazing Route running ability in it. so he can pretty much get open at will....Our o line is surprisingly good..Jake is Jake and Carey is a 90 overall...I suspect that will be going way down..
 
Man I've had a few long runs out of the backfield with Bush, I hope this translates to gamebreaker TD's in real life.
 
I had to make Reggie my 3rd down back. He got hurt in EVERY game!
 
Henne isn't good or bad in the game. He's mediocre. He's got his strengths and weaknesses.

What I realized after playing like 10-12 games with the Dolphins is that Henne is amazing at a couple of things and blows at a couple of things.

Things he's good at:

If you have Bess or Gates do a 20 yard out, he will hit them on the MONEY. For instance, I had 2 straight holding calls against me and was in a 2nd and 30. I ran 3 wide set and had Thomas and Fasano block for me, but I had everyone block right. I had Bess in the slot do a 30 yard out and Marshall do a fly. I rolled out right with the blockers and hit Bess on the money when he made his cut on the out. Try it, Henne is a beast at deep out and dig routes. He hits those better than any QB in the game.

He also has some nice deep passes in the game.

Things he sucks at:

He has the worst short area passing I have seen. A 5 yard check down or slant will be 20 yards overthrown. He also blows against the blitz and can't sense pressure for crap.
 
I run a 5 wide set with Gates as the slot guy running a sideline out. He gets open vs man almost every time. It's money with him.
