So he signed with them?
No he didn't sign with them. All they did was call his agent and inquire. The colts can't afford him. It will never happen. Why people start threads with wrong info. is beyond me.

Oh I read the thread title wrong I thought it said "Colts Make Contract With Simon".

I actually saw it on the corner of my eye and the first thing I thought I read was Colts make DEEP IMPACT with Simon

Yes I think Simon will end up with a SB contender. It would be nice to have him here but I dont know if we can come up with the loot and bonus package it would take to sign him.

Colts reported that they can offer Simon a tour of Peyton's house and a free steak dinner for his entire family every Friday evening at the finest resteraunt in town. As a bonus, he can recieve 20 million dollars if they get to the Super Bowl. Until then, he dont get jack.

Miami, Baltimore, Seattle, Baltimore, Buffalo and Indianapolis all called Simon.
Baltimore must be REALLY interested.

I dont think he will sign with Baltimore. Baltimore and Philly had compensation worked out for Simon, it was a 2nd and a 3rd. However Baltimore and Simon couldnt come to a contract agreement because Simon did not want to be traded there.

I think he fits the best in Baltimore. Their only weak link in their defense is their DTs. Other than that, they should have the top, if not one of the top, defenses in the NFL.

miami herald said they have the cap space to offer him a 10.million dollar signing bonus why wouldn't he sign there?
