Wide variety. I can understand people not being in on Grant, but having watched him, only weakness is he's gotta refine his technique. Kid is gonna be really really good
You are not wrong. I do think, and have thought this for months, that the draft set up well for a DT at 13. My top 4 at 13 were Will Johnson (who is elite but the knee is sadly seen as an issue), Jahdae Barron, Kenneth Grant, and Derek Harmon.
I get this thinking. But if your guy is there, you can’t move back, and he won’t be there with your next pick, you take him.

Disagree with this. Wilkins was technically sound. Was the better overall player entering the draft. This is Dexter Lawrence type. Where people saw some dominance coming out but wasn’t a finished product. Grant is not a finished product and will help immediately in the run game and you have to hope he takes even remotely the same leap as Lawrence.

Wow. He has some quickness and tends to put OL on their heels fast.
Of course, my issue here isn't about the player in question.... It's about asset management and priorities.
So much needs to go right in order to tell yourself: "Man looking back... that DT was such a great pick at #13!"

Higher than guards and around the same as CB which were the next biggest needs.
FOr me, the draft set up for BPA to be DT. I think the board even now is falling very favorably for the Fins
