we all know that he's a great mentor, he's living in a film room, study all the stuff before and after the games and has a lot of experience! beck is also a guy who did all these things and green will help beck to become a real good qb for us!

You listen to all the stuff being spoken about Green and it is very similiar to what we have read and learned about Beck coming out of college. Beck is a gym rat. He is a student of the game, just read what his wife said about how NFL network is always on and how while she does dishes she test him on the playbook. The kid is a student ofthe game and that will help him in the learning process behind Green. Part of the reason we selected Beck was because of his accuracy and intelegence, when you compare him to Green they both share the same abilities.

I think this was also a large motivating factor for Trent wanting to come to Miami and finish out his career. The role people envisioned for him in Kansas City was to fade into the background while bringing up a young QB (Croyle) in the system to be his replacement. Unfortunately, the Chiefs switched systems to one that any high school QB could probably master. As such, there was no real reason or challenge for Trent to stick around in the mentoring role. By coming back into Cam's system, Trent is returning into his area of expertise, a complicated system where a young student will benefit greatly by studying under a knowledgeable veteran.
