What do you think we do Next year if we finish 6-10 or worse and Culpepper doesn't look like he is the answer. Do we give him another year when he is healthy, Open it up for Joey and Duante to compete or draft a QB with our first pick. We have a nice Qb in Columbus named Troy Smith he can move around which would be good behind our line, He will be running for his life. Alot of people think he is too short but he has a cannon for an arm. I am hoping we turn it around but things do not look good this year.

ummm too early to tell. I say give Dante till week twelve and if he's getting worse start Joey. Next year open it up for training camp and let them duke it out for the QB position.

Hell yeah, Daunte is our starter next year, we need to build the O-Line to give him the protection he needs to do his job.

how about this, we focus on beefing our oline and seeing what culpepper or even joey can do behind it instead of worrying about chaning our qb all the time.

Is Culpepper getting support locally. Everyone around here are Browns Steelers Bengals fans they all laugh and say Culpepper su**s but I still think he can be alright he needs a line I agree.

we signed daunte to be our qb for the future, not necesairly to jump right in and lead us to a super bowl like we all expected, yea he hasnt played up to par but he is still not 100% comming off a very serious injury that most of us underrate.....like ive said before, daunte hasnt played that well but much of it has to do with the oline, daunte will eventually show what hes capable to do as our starting qb and hopefully he can show it to us sooner than later but its patience

ya i mean come on he cant be marino come back from a torn achilles and first game back throw 5 td and 472 yards in a dramatic come from behind victory against new england so lets all make sure we understand daunte is not i repeat the re-birth of marino

How about this...we're 4 weeks into the season and you're giving up already?

If Harrington becomes the starter, Daunte is gone next year but that's a big if

You really think, we would keep Joey over Daunte if Joey becomes the starter this year????? I mean Daunte is not 100%, yet, it would be smart to play joey over daunte, if C-Pep is not 100% Joey would be the one leaving, it's smart to play Joey to showcase his talent for trade bait next year. Unless saban wants to keep both.

If Joey doesnt show much, I agree that we keep Daunte. I'm only saying that if Joey gets a chance and lights it up (a big if) and basically takes command of the situation then you cant pay Daunte the contract we're paying for being a bench player. If Joey is average or sucks then Daunte will be here next year

If Joey shows that hes the guy, then the Fins of course are going to have to pay him. And you cant have 2 Qbs on the roster with huge contracts. So Daunte will be toast.

Yep, if Joey played really well why not?
