Look, give the man a break. He didn't look like he was hurting, when he actually got rid of the ball he was fairly accurate, most of the time. He is a great player.

Has everyone forgotten how it took Marino, the great Dan Marino I fight add, a few games into the reg season after his major injury to get back to old form. Everyone was calling for his head to, but once it clicked he couldn't be stopped and we won 11 games that year and went to the playoffs.

I consider Marino a much better natural talent than Daunte, and that's not a slight at Daunte, more of a compliment to Marino. This is not the same offense he has been used to.

He looks tentative to throw the ball, but he will get over that with some time.

Now these two losses makes my earlier stated prediction of 14 - 2 a little harder to achieve, but I've seen stranger things happen in this league.

Daunte will progress and as long as the O-line progresses as well, we are still gonna be in for a great season.

Just my thoughts...

Actually, I thought he did quite well against New England in his first game back from the injury.

Yeah Marino's first game back (473 yards and 5 TDs) was a terribly slow start for him.

What are you talking about? 1994? We went 10-6 and Marino was brilliant in the beginning of the season. :shakeno:

yeah thanks for the thoughts. i was hoping for something with a little more substance. 14-2?

Look the 1998 Jets and 2001 Patriots started 0-2. The Jets in 98 lost their second game to a bad Ravens team and actually were 2-3 at one point and finished 12-4 and lost in the AFC Championship game. The 01 Pats lost their second game to a mediocre at best Jets team (the game Bledsoe got knocked out) and finished 11-5 and won the Super Bowl. My point here is anything can happen if they get their heads on straight and play with some urgency and heart because let's be honest they were lifeless against the Bills and admitted as much. The season is not lost and we realistically we're only going to be 1-1 at this point anyways, they just have to get it together ASAP becasue we play 3 of the next 5 on the road, 2 of which are division games that they have to steal. I think they will still be 5-2 or 4-3 heading into the BYE week. ANother thing I am calling out all the so called "fans" that live in Miami to get ther butts to the games and make some noise. I live in upstate NY and would kill to be able to go to every single home game and was embarassed when I had some friends over (Bills fans) when they showed the stadium 1/2 empty. Miami needs a true home field advantage and when only 57,000 people show up and 15,000 are Bills fans it's pretty sad!!
