So, right now I give the division to the Patriots.

Patriots are looking to sign Bodden now that they have the space and they just got themselves the 31st pick in the draft. Not only that, they have similiar needs as the Dolphins and they pick ahead of us unless we do something about it.

Yes, I hate it, but if something isn't done they are going to improve their team far more than we will improve ours.

And you can bet that the cheater will trying everything legal or illegal to find out Miami's draft strategy.

Actually, I think this is a big risk for the Pats. Vrabel was a leader on D, and they are putting a lot of stock into Brady's knee being ready to go.

They got the 34th and they chose ahead of us in the first round as well. That's what happens when a team finishes behind another team.

And Pioli did a helluva job fleecing Belichek. Give him his props.

Exactly, We've had the pre FA period, in which we got Wake and Wilson, the resigning of our own big 3, and now into FA, we've signed depth on the OL, or a potential starting Center.. We're now waiting for certain agents to lower their price...once we finish FA, then there's the draft, and undrafted period. All thoughtout this process, there's the possibility of trades..and then there's end of TC cuts.. We have plenty time to get better this year, I'm not sweating it.

Agreed.

Bruschi & Vrabel were the cornerstones on that D. They are really not doing alot to get younger on D which is their achilles heel.

I thought Tommy boys injury was similar to Daunte's. If Brady isn't ready to go then they are in a world of hurt..... no pun intended.

Sometimes, it the changes you don't make that have the most impact and upgrading for a quick fix rarely works out. That being said; I can't see the Pats running away w/ the division i.e. 2007. I am not impressed w/ what the jest have done and Buffalo is Buffalo.

Granted, The phins won't be able to sneak up on anyone in '09. Until the draft and training camp are over, its silly to anoint anyone division champ.

Another silly thread....the sky is falling....Brady Brady Brady....well lets look at Brady;

For the first time he has been injured...NO ONE knows how he will react...it's only been a year coming off that injury and he has had so major problems with it. He's no spring chicken by the way...you don't get better as you get older.

Now lets look at Cassell...never a starter in college...thrown in after Brady became injured...was his play because of him....or the sysytem and the players around him? The Pats aren't blessed...they didn't find two great QB's....from the garbage bin....what would be the odds of that? It's the system and the players around Brady and Cassell...that makes them seem better than they are...I can't wait to see how Cassell plays with the Chiefs O-line in front of him..or without Welker and Moss to throw to.

Yes it was a great deal for both teams...but both teams have their butts sticking out...now don't they.

no doubt! At first I was like what the hell? Then I am on the phone with my buddy and up on the screen flashes Vrabel and Cassell for second round pick. Suddenly, things looked a whole lot different.

Then my next thought was this is about us! BB is afraid of BP and wants to steal our guys every time we are coming up to bat!

No, we give 'em a push....and guess what's been bugging me about the ex-commish buddying up to our owner...the guy is still smiling from the deep penetrating brown nose service he gets regularly from BB. Do all teams suffer the same level of unfair bias, or is it only the ones with us psychologically unstable paranoid fans???
