Hello fellow Dolphin Fans......:bighug:

Should the NFL follow the same guidelines as they do for Mary Jane when involving DUI arrest?

The point is when a player smokes Mary Jane they break the law. But do not have issues driving home killing families. They just lose brain cells and eat too much....:sidelol:

But when a player drinks and drives home there is a good chance that he will kill someone.:fire:

It's pretty hard to prove someone was driving under the influence of marijuana because it stays in your system up to a month.

I don't really get your question. Should the NFL have the same penalty for possession of marijuana as a DUI? They are completely different, but I don't think that was your question. I think your question is if they were driving on marijuana would it be the same as a DUI (referring to alcohol). DUI covers the basis of that already know, they are one in the same. Driving under the influence is driving under the influence.

I think I just wasted 60 seconds of my time.

If someone gets pulled over with a joint or they fail a drug test. They get hammered by the NFL.

If someone gets pulled over and is drunk they really get a free pass from the NFL.

I think the penalty for Mary (arrest/failed test) should be the same as (DUI's/DIP).

Sorry that you wasted your time...Chances are when it comes to life period. You waste time on a PC when you could be doing things with more meaning. So I hope you don't use that standard to all things in life.

When it comes down to Drunk in public and a drug user stoned in public. They are the same do you really want your child seeing that? I just think the NFL is to slack on drinking issues.

Actually, I post while in my university's computer lab in between classes. Good try, though!

Completely different. It's pretty easy to spot out someone who's drunk, but you probably walk by at least 5 people per day who are high and you wouldn't even realize it.

If they did this, there would be nobody in the NFL to play with. We'd have to employ replacement players like the strike of the 80's just to supplement the amount of potheads getting done.

I pretty much agree with where you're going. Smoking pot isn't anywhere near as bad as drunk driving. One sits at home eating food and watching TV while the other endangers himself and others. But I think the big deal is with teenage fans. They just believe that kids idolizing pot smokers is far worse than those same kids hearing about a player's DUI. Most of these kids can't drive, won't drive for a while, and getting liquor is actually harder than getting a bag of weed if you're under 21.
