Dungy dislikes what Ryan and Scott said after Jets game

Sorry if this has been posted, but I didn't see it anywhere after a quick scan. I found this over on ESPN.com

NBC Sports studio analyst Tony Dungy took exception with the bitter comments that emanated from New York Jets' locker room Sunday.

Dungy, the former Indianapolis Colts and Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach, called out Jets coach Rex Ryan and linebacker Bart Scott for belittling the Miami Dolphins after losing to them 30-25 at the Meadowlands.

Scott mocked the Dolphins as Super Bowl contenders. Ryan declared the Jets were the better team.

"My mother used to say 'When you win, say very little. When you lose, say less,'" Dungy said on NBC's "Football Night in America." "Bart Scott said too much today. When a team beats you twice, give them credit and go home.

"And I have to disagree with Rex Ryan. They didn't outplay Miami. Miami's got three-return touchdowns. That's part of the game. They've got more points than you do."

No doubt Bart Scott had a good game, but what a sore loser! And for that fat *** head coach of theirs, he should learn to shut his fat trap. Makes him look ridiculous, and I'll bet the fans in NY won't get used to him spouting stupid **** when he's getting beat week in week out. And NO, they are not the better team. If you want to compare how we played other teams to how they played them, he looks even more foolish.
 
Tony Dungy is the picture perfect example of class. He has been since I first watched him play QB and BBall at a rival high school.

It's pretty pathetic to see the Jets coach and his players make excuses instead of being real men and accepting responsibility for their shortcomings and crediting the opposition for winning.

Anyone else else notice Sparano ran over said maybe one word to the turd and ran away? Can you blame him?
 
It's typical so why care, losers will always be losers the JEST's have proved that over an incredibly long time!
 
It's gotten to the stage where it really doesn't surprise me how Ryan and company react after a loss. But the funny thing is that they are starting to look very sad and pathetic. After going 0-2 for the season against the divisional rival and still talk **** is laughable. I find those comments from Scott and after the 1st game by Pace hilarious. All these guys have proved is that they talk **** and cant back it up.

Their all a bunch of childish nancy boys!! No but really they need to man up and just deal with the loss and not give excuse's. It was another hard fought game and Miami stepped up again thats all!
 
I don't see why everyone is so surprised at these statements. This is in true Jets form....why would you expect any less? Regardless of how much trash they talk, they get an entire year to stew over it (and seek therapy as well). I, for one, hope that we both make it to the playoffs and have the chance to face each other so we can spank that *** again! ;-)
 
The Jets are coming off as a bunch of clowns...again. Even their fans are tired of it.

Yeah the Fins played poorly but what does that say in turn if you can not beat a team that plays poorly?

Dungy has more class in his pinky finger than the entire Jets organization has combined...
 
We really have turned into the dolphins of the late 90s through mid 00s where every time we beat you we heard excuses. I hate seeing it.
 
Rex has to do something....he totally overinflated this teams ego....now they've lost 4 of their last 5....
 
if they were the better team why didn't they win...oh wait because miami is the better team
