Another ridiculous rule for the No Fun League.

NFL Head of Officials Dean Blandino told @dpshow that dunking the ball over the goal posts will be a penalty next season.

F'n pathetic. Really starting to lose interest in this "modern" game of football.

Meh ... I always thought that was kinda stupid anyway.

No big loss. :idk:

No issue with this whatsoever tbo. Their have been a few game delays associated with this so I don't blame them one bit for wanting to eliminate it. Just one mans opinion.

I don't really care, but the NFL was built on color and characters, and they
are doing all they can to legislate it all away.

I whole heartedly agree. However due to this causing a few delays I can understand the reasoning in this case.

Delays for a crew to come out and re level the goal posts. You may not mind but I would rather not have that type of meaningless delay in a game im watching.

whooptie doo.

Commercials after a TD. Commercials after a FG. Commercials after an extra point. Commercials after a kickoff. Commercials for a 30 second timeout. Commercials for an officials timeout. That's what's delaying the game. And all this for more excessive revenue in a billion dollar tax exempt corporation. "Pigs get fat. Hogs get slaughtered".

Well, it maybe whooptie doo for you but fortunately for me the owners and I are in agreement on this so.....oh well. How will people live without seeing the ball dunked over the goal post......

so who has the audacity to do a finger roll? ref's hand gonna be on the flag lol,but I remember them "banning" sack dances before last season, yet players continued to do them.

Like everything in life, it's all subject to interpretation.

The "Slam dunk" is reasoned to be banned because it causes a delay in the game potentially.
I think that's complete bull****, as that just gives more latitude in running commercials.
I just think they are trying to legislate color out of the game. When I say "color" I mean personality.

In this day and age, it's not the worst philosiphy, since everyone's offended by everything.
