When he visited practice last week, Duper got his first look at the offense being installed by new offensive coordinator Bill Lazor, and he immediately liked what he saw. The explosiveness, the motion, the confusion created by the offense was something that intrigued him. He was a fan of the passion from the group, and believes that this could be the start of something great.“I really like what I’ve seen, and I like the enthusiasm with the coaching staff. I like the enthusiasm of the players,” said Duper. “These guys have a sort of family communication, and I’m looking for great things from the Dolphins this year. They’ve bettered themselves on the line, they’ve picked up some great draft choices, and they’ve got a couple more receivers.”

“I told them that this game is not hard,” said Duper. “This game is easy. Basically what you do is prepare yourself as much as you can, and listen to what the coaching staff has to tell you. It’s kind of obvious that the coaching staff wants to win just as much as you. They’re going to put you in a good situation…Whatever play the coaching staff puts out there for you, make it work. Do your best to make it work, and you guys are going to be alright.”

Sounds like most everyone is impressed with the new offense.

Will training camp ever get here? It's going to be a long month and whatever till they start practicing.

this is exactly how the great teams start.

CHEMISTRY. COMRADRERY. BELIEF IN SYSTEM AND STAFF.

its catching fire. the players, the staff, the fans, and soon, the media will have to, especial if we start winning, they will at least have to pretend and bashers will look stupid.

there has absolutely not been this kind of all around excitement since the marino years. I remember in that first camp when the sports news on clayton said he had never seen an arm like marino's.he and duper basically had to learn to catch the ball differently because both he and duper both had fingers broken and they got hit in the back or the being long past them by the time they turned around. the ball long past them! clayton said turning and seeing the ball already there was a shock and they had to speed up everything they did and be MUCH crisper.

just the whole buzz coming out of that first camp was awesome. that's how those years started. a buzz and instant comradery with the young players and vets.

and this isn't luck. its by design. its sports psychology which hickey studied as did jimmy Johnson. its no accident some of these players chosen had friends and former team mates already here or ones drafted with them. the people we have now actually have a PLAN and a philosophy and a direction. AND... they know how to do it and what parts are needed to accomplish.

do I see superbowl this year? no. but....., you never know. this team has a HUGE breath of fresh air right now and that can do a lot of magical things on its own. this team and the players are a sponge right now fueled by enthusiasm and soaking up everything around them as fast as they can. and that too can make big things happen very quick.

I am reserved like so many others because our hearts have been broken so many times over the last decade or so. but..., I havere thought this and WE need to ride the wave!! they need to give the excitement back at them and not having them getting all jacked and then hearing all the fans are still in bummer mode.

I am OFFICIALLY jacked and on board and excited!! i'm buzzing hard and I aint hidin' it!!!

GO FINZ 2014!!!!

I like that they got Tannehill a young receiver in Landry he can grow up with.....there is a lot to like and at a minimum there is hope.

In the end, it all comes down to Tannehill and his ability to master the offense.
