Duper says Wallace, 'has to catch last pass'

i kinda wonder if wallace doesn't reach out and create some separation as the balls arriving with a slight shove on the shoulder pad on the play if the db would have just run right thru him for a pi call and our ball at the 2 yard line...

that would have been a prime face guarding opportunity call...

wallace is crafty though with that suttle shove on the shoulder pad to get the separation to catch the ball...did it nicely on the td catch too...

Agree with duper.

Dont care how many times a guy gets twisted. Hes making $60mil.... not asking to much to make a hard catch once in awhile.

There have been instances in the past he could have high pointed a ball as well. $60mil, hits your hands, you catch it.

tannehill stood in there too and took a massive shot he knew was coming on the play...qbs don't like guys around their knees and that hit was borderline knee level and penalty worthy...but when a guys 6 ft 4 sometimes he is gonna take hits like that after he puts all his momentum and body into a throw

hell of an attempt by tannehill...just more blue balls for us though

Had he caught that we would have still lost. Fact is tannehill left a handful off passes on the field.

It was a hail mary, you can hope, but not expect that to be caught. As far as Wallace, from what I've seen, he doesn't have great hands and doesn't fight for balls. He is what he is. But he's making too much money for us not to try to get max utilization out of him. He had a good game I thought though, and he's had other good games when they made the effort to get him involved. How many TD's does Hartline have this year, isn't he raking it in, too?

I've seen this movie before, and it was called Brandon Marshall. If you think Wallace is the reason we're losing games, then you're way off track.

But lets not talk about the running game losing chunks of 10 yards a pop...

wallace had a good game cause of the looks the panthers gave us to attack...it's not like the oc is doing anything really to try and get him more involved...other than screen plays with hartline as a blocker at the los or a tackle that can't move expected to get out there both of which is a joke

if you are gonna run sets where a wr is gonna block at the line for a screen on a bunched set or whatever at least run em with a wr that can maybe not get tossed like a rog doll on contact as the blocker like hartline does...use mathews

duh

Duper wold have ran it down and caught it.....he and Clayton made numerous fingertip catches. I saw a picture of the play and it hits Wallace's hands, and didn't touch the defender, who flat out missed the ball. Coulda, shoulda, woulda.

Only on Finheaven should a quarterback's stat line look like this: 30/30, 74,975 yards, 97 TD, -23 INT.

Every quarterback leaves throws on the field.

Can you imagine the posts on this board if we would have had this back in the days of Duper? That would have been interesting.

The Fans were a lot smarter in those days...and so was the organization and head coach.

It was an amazing throw given the situation. It was a catch that Calvin Johnson, Brandon Marshall and AJ Green make - not sure anyone else makes that catch though. Certainly Ted Ginn Jr - nor his whole family - don't catch that one!

Hey - his punk kid sassed him - probably deserved a good ass-kicking!

If you think having fist fights with your child is deserved and or good patenting? Do the world a favor don't reproduce!

The difference between players these days and the players in Duper's era is that guys back then played with heart and played for more than just a pay day.
