Ik this is guy is just a good football player .. ik he is not the greatest blocker but he can flat out catch the ball since i pretty much watch him play ( im a big purdue fan) so lemme hear what u guys think.

i say get him, and obtain Kyle Orton from Chicago, and then see what these guys can Boil up!!!

I'd rather have Tamme(6'8 end zone thread that can block or John Carlson).

Guy is a WR. I would say draft him at 2B as a WR. Guy is a solid Slot WR.

Kyle Orton:sidelol: Lmao you have go to be kddin.

it twas a Purdue Boilmaker joke... both played there. u see, a little twist i threw out there!!!

i do like my Orton though, great beard!!!

He isn't a TE by any stretch of the imagination. What a joke.

Brad Cottam is the real buzz man. 6'7" 3/4 275lbs. The best blocking TE in this class
AND he ran 4.63. Now that is a true TE who has true athleticism. If I'm not mistaken he also jumped over 30 in the vertical as well. This guy has distinguished himself.

id rather draft Keller and Craig Stevens (is that his last name?) and use Keller as a slot receiver, and Stevens as the run blocking TE we need.

You're absolutely right, there's so much talk about Keller and his great combine, while he did have a great combine, he was one of the smaller tight ends in the group. Cottom was 28 pounds heavier than Keller and was only .08 of a second slower in the 40.

The question with Cottam is can he stay healthy. Brad has only played in 11 games the past two years because of various injuries.

I went to high school with keller and he was an outstanding wr and track athelete in high school and ended up packing on at least an extra 150 pounds at Purdue so the thought of him becoming a slot receiver could work. He knows the position and is an excelent athelete and I would love to see him in orange and green, but thats my biased opinion haha

I have read a few times that Henning's offense doesn't really utilize a catching WR-type TE, he'd prefer a good blocker supposedly.

I'd like Cottam. He's big, can move, and can block. Sounds good!
