I know he is no longer a fin, but has anyone heard anything on his recovery?? What is the chance we could sign him cheap to another one year deal to see if he has a chance of being the player he once was?? I know it is a long shot but I have heard nothing about him and was wondering.

That statement from his agent was made a few weeks ago. I believe he is hoping to be ready this season.

I have mentioned this before.
His knee injury was horrific. This wasn't a simple ACL tear.

Based on his age(30 next season) and his skill set, the odds are very high he isn't ready for the start of the season
So now you are essentially paying him to hold the rights to him.

He is a nice fit of need but you can't sign him with the expectation that he isn't going to perform for you right away if at all.

Nice to see someone around here showing a lot of class about a guy who we all were very excited about before his injury.

Management should give him a second chance when he is ready. Keller is a good TE when healthy.
