I know he is no longer a fin, but has anyone heard anything on his recovery?? What is the chance we could sign him cheap to another one year deal to see if he has a chance of being the player he once was?? I know it is a long shot but I have heard nothing about him and was wondering.

I would love to bring him back (if healthy), would be a great mentor to Clay and would be a cheap option.

Any other than a 1 year deal at the vet minimum would be pure stupidity.

dirt cheap one year vet minimum...no brainer...he doesnt make the 53 no worries...

thanks all, so from what most of you are saying he probably won't be back fully healthy for another year?? OK thanks for the information.

I have mentioned this before.
His knee injury was horrific. This wasn't a simple ACL tear.

Based on his age(30 next season) and his skill set, the odds are very high he isn't ready for the start of the season
So now you are essentially paying him to hold the rights to him.

He is a nice fit of need but you can't sign him with the expectation that he isn't going to perform for you right away if at all.

Keller is a bum now. Draft another TE and move on.

Nice to see someone around here showing a lot of class about a guy who we all were very excited about before his injury.
