BIG PLAY down the field threat (long speed + attack the pig up high).

C'mon dude we're counting on YOU!

My take is this: if Parker is gonna make a consistent difference it's 80%+ decoy vs. eminent threat. Point is this -- get him of the outside and let him run DEEP virtually every snap (ensuring his cardio fitness) and bank on the fact he's gonna drag double coverage (CB + FS whoever) creating some "luft" (look it up if you don't dig German) underneath for all our speedster fleas with quicks to run wild.

If Parker needs a blow then go Mighty Mouse!

Of course on the other side you have Stills who can attack long but not vertically in the same way as Parker -- but Kenny's speed also puts a constant load on the D to protect width and depth, which has gotta open the short game for more digs slants hitch and the dreaded check down dump off -- hope he can run with the football for a 1st down stuff.

OK you say this takes pass pro deluxe to execute -- so do it on counter rollouts etc. whatever get Thill in a place at the same time that allows him to gobble 5 or 6 or 12 yard runs if the LBs drop deep and/or DEs get trapped crashing the pocket you get my drift.

Attack the entire field as often as you can -- and create space for our speed to shine.

Coupe this with some consistent WC and reverses to Wilson and just keep the opposing D wondering WTF is next!

Not even mentioning Drake quick hits and NO bubble screens!

Anyway, I'm looking forward to how Gase further implements his vision for the O.

***and certainly enjoying the FACT we're 2 and oh baby!

Have fun!

They are still gonna call those wr screens as long as we work out of read option etc.

But this dude needs to put the 3 5 and 7 step drop timing route concepts back in the o. 5 step intermediate especially. Fellas it’s all gimmick without him and no consistent win tight end. And the only offset is tempo

I think I know what you mean. Diversify yes? But I'm just not seeing Ryan as a consistent 3-5-7 drop with the quicks to execute on a consistent basis. Tho I'd love to be wrong.

So I'm thinking consistent moving targets / moving chains don't be afraid to throw the pig up high and long for Parker to grab (to scare the crap out of 'em).

I think the read option is part of Ryan's game -- and the kid won the Jets game as much with his legs as with his arm. So his option to run needs to remain on the table IMO.

Beyond that -- I'm just trying to envision a way DVP plays a significant, consistent role.

He describes himself as a down the field high ball attacker -- and he's totally fitted for that. So don't have him running short crosses and option routes when he's NOT that kind of receiver...

My opinion. Of course.

I think he's a piece of the puzzle, I hope everyone fits together well. This should be our first look at our true wr spread

At least he will be over any hamstring or other lower body injuries that hampered him last year

Right. I didn't think about that having him run so many deep routes!

But hey -- he's built for a particular role and let's let him run until he breaks down.

Hopefully it doesn't happen. But I get the feeling the kid needs a simplified basic role.

I certainly don't want him trying to extract anagrams out of the alphabet soup!

Dude has been an INT magnet the last 2 years!

OK. Stats on that statement?

Which is exactly what I'd be asked on a statement like that.

Unsure how a receiver can be an INT magnet unless the ball is being forced to him.

Just sayin'.

LMAO, stats? Just watch the games!

"The same cannot be said for Parker, who has been the intended target for at least five of the team’s interceptions this season"

That was just last year, he had the issue in 2016 as well, including pics and horrible attempts at passes in the endzone.

He may not have lived up to his draft status but he still offers something different than the smaller guys and they're not any better from what I've seen, still young and improving. Doubt they pay him his 5th-year money unless he has a huge year, so he does have something to play for.

Could also help Gelsicki get going, 2 bigger guy's on the field at the same time

How are you going to perform a 5 and 7 step drop if Larsen can't hold his water?
